Bournemouth Airport, Bournemouth Airport is located approximately ten minutes drive from the city’s center and can be easily found from all of the major roads. Bournemouth Airport is fairly small and is considered more of a regional airport. There is only one building for both arrivals and departures so you will not have to worry about getting lost. The airport has three parking locations for short stays, long stays, and pick up and drop offs. People with disabilities should use car park one as it is the closest to the terminal. The drop off area is free of charge if you are there for under ten minutes.

The airport has no train station, but there are bus services that run from the airport to the nearest train station and the city center. The bus company is called Yellow Busses and the bus number you will need is 747 (like the plane). Taxis are the official taxi for the airport and there are usually great numbers of them at the ranks. Taxi ranks are outside the terminal. There are other taxi companies that work in England that can transport you to the airport should you need them. There are a number of car hire companies inside the airport for you to choose from should you wish to have a vehicle at your disposal during your time in and around Bournemouth. SHOPS, BARS AND RESTAURANTS
There are a limited number of shops in the airport where you can buy water, books, magazines, souvenirs and other small comfort items. The Bournemouth Airport also has duty free shops for international travelers. The airport also has three bars and restaurants in it serving a variety of the usual hot and cold food and drinks coffee, soft drinks, and alcohol.
