PARKING
Parking at Gatwick Airport is easy as there is every option imaginable available. You have your choice from drop off to very short stay, short stay – less than 24 hours, or long term. There is also a valet service that will drop you off and pick you up from the terminal, and they will even wash your car if you like. There are several offsite lots in the area with shuttle busses that run to and from the airport. Handicap parking is not a problem as there are several spaces in all of the lots available.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT TO AND FROM ABERDEEN AIRPORT
There are buses that run from the city center to the airport and these buses also run farther into the surrounding areas. The local taxi company, Checkered Cars, also goes to and from the airport and will be able to take you wherever you need in the Gatwick area. The train station is located near the southern terminal and connection to the northern terminal is free. SHOPS, BARS AND RESTAURANTS
There are shops where you can buy water, books, magazines, souvenirs and other small comfort items. Gatwick Airport also has duty free shops for international travelers. The airport has more shops than you can count and these shops offer anything and everything you could want. The airport offers a huge amount of bars, cafes, and restaurants for you to choose from and they serve hot and cold meals, snacks, soft drinks, coffee, alcoholic drinks and others.
